Making Two-Digit Numbers

Today the Parrots were making two-digit numbers with place value money. They had to figure out how many tens and how many ones were in each number. Have a look at what they did:

    Partitioning in 10s and 1s is a really useful maths strategy and we use it everyday when we go shopping.
