Here is an introductory video on the NZ Maths Website aimed at parents (sorry, I couldn't embed the video in this page). There are also lots of resources in the Family Section of NZ Maths that could be useful to helping your child.

Below are student checklists for each of the stages in Maths, starting at Stage 1. A student needs to know how to do everything in that checklist to move to that stage. For example, in the first list, if a student can do all of the things it lists, they would be on Stage 1. Please note that some children may be able to do some of the things on Stage 5, but may still be missing some things on Stage 2 or 3. The complete version can be found here.
